Case 43: A Patient with Abnormal Movements
CASE
A 69‐year‐old man presents with a 2‐year history of abnormal movements. Initially he was thought to be ‘fidgety’ but the movements evolved into frank chorea. In other ways he was functioning normally and there was no evidence of cognitive decline. MRI scanning of the brain does not show significant evidence of atrophy more than would be expected for the patient's age.
