Case 36: A Patient with Double Vision
CASE
A 55‐year‐old man presents with a 2‐day episode of double vision which occurs 3 days into a episode of flu‐like viral symptoms. By the time he is seen in outpatients the double vision has resolved but he feels generally ‘run down’ and tired. There is nothing to find on examination except mild ptosis of the left eye.
