Case 35: A Patient with Diminishing Walking Distance
CASE
A 65‐year‐old man gives a 6‐month history of progressively diminishing walking distance. He describes the build‐up of low back pain after about 200 m with numbness of the groin. Symptoms also occur on prolonged standing and are relieved by lying down or bending forward. Neurological examination of the lower limbs is normal.
