Case 31: A Patient with Gait Ataxia
CASE
A 65‐year‐old woman with a history of breast cancer treated with local excision and radiotherapy 3 years previously presents with gait ataxia developing over a week. A CT scan shows a solitary lesion with the appearance of a metastasis in the midline of the cerebellum (vermis). A search for evidence of disseminated malignancy (mammogram, chest X‐ray, bone scan, etc.) is negative.
