Case 26: A Patient with Unsteadiness Following Childbirth
CASE
A 30‐year‐old woman of white European origin, with a history of optic neuritis 3 years previously presents with unsteadiness and sensory loss over her trunk one month after giving birth to her first child. She is naturally concerned having read that MS is ‘partly genetic’ to know if her baby daughter is at risk of developing the disease in later life.
