Case 16: A Patient with Possible Epilepsy
CASE
A 22‐year‐old woman is referred for investigation of possible epilepsy. There have been three episodes in total in which she has collapsed, on each occasion in a night club. She is able to remember feeling ‘spaced out’ and as if she is ‘not there’, she has a warm tingling feeling around her mouth. She next remembers a crowd of people around her and being helped to the ground and outside to get some fresh air which makes her feel better.
