Case 12: A Patient with a Fever and Rash
CASE
A 22‐year‐old woman presents to her GP with malaise, arthralgia and fever. She mentioned a raised painful rash on both her shins. She denies any respiratory or gastrointestinal symptoms. She is not on any medication and there is no history of foreign travel. On examination she has a low‐grade fever and has tender erythematous nodules present on both anterior shins.
