Case 9: A Patient with Amenorrhoea
CASE
A 25‐year‐old woman is referred to the hospital with a 1‐year history of amenorrhoea. Prior to this her periods were regular, although aged 17 she noticed amenorrhoea for 6 months while training for a marathon. Following the run she regained the weight she had lost, and reduced her running to three times a week with resumption of her normal menstrual pattern.
