Case 19: A Patient with a Renal Transplant
CASE
A 41‐year‐old man received a kidney transplant from his brother 3 weeks ago for renal failure due to focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. His creatinine has been running in the range 120–125 µmol/L but has now risen to 190 µmol/L. He is taking prednisolone, tacrolimus, mycophenolate, aspirin and co‐trimoxazole.
