Case 47: A Woman with Coeliac Disease and Weight Loss
CASE
A 46‐year‐old woman with known coeliac disease presents with 1 stone in weight loss. She has a good appetite but is passing a semi‐formed stool three to four times daily and is concerned that her coeliac disease is still active. She has no regular prescribed medications but continues to take supplemental iron and folic acid in addition to a multivitamin.
Blood tests showed:
