Case 25: A Patient with A Persistent Dry Cough
CASE
A 52‐year‐old woman complains of a persistent dry cough. She has had this for several months but has not experienced any chest pain, shortness of breath or wheeze. She has had no sputum production. Her current medication is aspirin, lisinopril and atenolol which she commenced 6 months ago for hypertension. She also takes thyroxine which was commenced 2 years ago for hypothyroidism.
