Case 5: A Patient with A Chronic Ulcer
CASE
A 60‐year‐old woman is referred to clinic with a chronic ulcer above the left medial malleolus. Over the last 3 days the ulcer has become increasingly tender and the surrounding skin is erythematous and warm to touch. There is a prior history (more than 10 years ago) of a deep venous thrombosis of that left leg.
