Case 3: A Patient with A Pruritic Rash
CASE
A 40‐year‐old man visits his GP complaining of a 3‐week history of a pruritic rash. He describes an intensive itch, which is worse at night. He has no other co‐morbid problems. His wife has also been itchy over this same period. He works as a health care assistant in a nursing home. Examination demonstrates excoriated papules and nodules distributed on his limbs, trunk and genitalia.
