Case 14: A Patient with De‐Pigmented Patches
CASE
A 27‐year‐old North African man is referred to outpatient clinic with a 2‐year history of de‐pigmented patches on his face, trunk and limbs. At the onset of his problem he had been seen by a private dermatologist and diagnosed with vitiligo. He was issued with a high potency steroid, however despite the use of this topical steroid, the disease had progressed. He is extremely embarrassed by his physical appearance and lacks self confidence.
