Case 10: A Patient with A Psoriasiform Rash
CASE
A 26‐year‐old man presents with a 2‐week history of a psoriasiform rash. Prior to onset of his skin rash, he had been feeling lethargic and had a sore throat. He has no other co‐morbid problems and is not on any regular medication. He is homosexual and over the last year has had multiple casual sexual partners. He does have a strong family history of psoriasis (both his father and paternal grandfather suffered from this condition). Physical examination demonstrates scattered papules, topped with silvery scales, distributed on his trunk.
