Case 12: A Patient with a Painful Eye and Blurry Vision
CASE
A 60 year‐old Chinese woman complained of a 3‐hour history of a painful, red and blurry left eye, and a frontal headache. She also mentioned seeing halos around lights. She had vomited several times on the way to hospital.
On examination, visual acuities were 6/24 right eye and 6/60 left eye. She had a fixed mid‐dilated pupil. There was no pain on eye movement. She had bilateral cataracts.
